Abstract: The content and transfer of heavy metal elements, such as As, Cd, Cr, Pb, Ni, Cu, Hg, and etc, in cigarette and materials, the uptake, accumulation of the heavy metal elements in tobacco and influencing factors were reviewed.Some problems and tendency of heavy metal element research in China were also presented.
