Abstract: The factors influencing the cigarette weight control precision of PASSIM 7000 cigarette making and assembling combination were discussed in detail, including unperfect design, materials, machine status, operation and maintenance. From this point, following improving methods were given:1) adopting electronic gear control in cut tobacco supply system; 2) improving the electric supply of radioactive source and temperature control; 3) improving the control mode of ecreteur; 4) adding automatic dense-end adjusting. Besides, proper operation and maintenance also play a role in increasing the cigarette weight control precision.
