Abstract:
In order to optimize aging conditions and provide a theoretical basis for the temperature and humidity management in tobacco warehouse and rationalize lamina storage, the effects of storage conditions on the quality of aged flue cured tobacco lamina, Fujian Z05-98, were studied in Longyan Cigarette Factory. The results showed that 1) the storage conditions heavily influenced the appearance and smoking quality of the aged tobacco; 2) lower temperature and higher relative humidity resulted in relatively lower appearance and smoking quality; and 3) higher temperature and suitable relative humidity brought about better appearance and favourable to smoking quality improvement.
