Abstract: Aimed at the risk of tipping paper's brand mix-ups in cigarette maker, an on-line tipping paper identification system was designed. Vision imaging system was used to monitor the image of tipping paper, PLC was used to control vision sensor and communicate information with the control system in cigarette maker. Working principle and plan were introduced in detail. By this system, the brand mix-up of tipping paper in cigarette maker was avoided effectively.
