Abstract:
The operating principles, technique index, and operating methods of three-stage curing were introduced. In yellowing stage:the temperature of dry-bulb was 32-35℃ at the beginning, 36-38℃ in the duration and 38-42℃ at the end, the temperature of wet-bulb was 1-4℃ lower than that of dry-bulb; in fixing color stage:the temperature of dry-bulb was 43-54℃, and that of wet-bulb was 37-40℃; in drying stage:the temperature of dry-bulb was 65-68℃, and that of wet-bulb was 40-43℃. The keypoints were outlined as follows:1) yellowing tobacco leaves at low temperature, to keep yellowing and drying in harmony; 2) elevating the temperature at a preferable rate to fix leave's color; 3) paying attention to humidity changes in the curing barn.
