Abstract: The working procedure and characteristics of automatic tobacco purchase system in Maliang tobacco station of Hubei province were introduced. The tobacco station comprised a pre-inspection room, a main-inspection room and a weighing room. Farmer's tobacco was graded by main-inspector after inspected by pre-inspector, qualified leaf was then send to warehouse after weighted by an electronic weigher. By this system, main-inspector, pre-inspector, weigher and tobacco farmer were separated from one another, the quality of purchased tobacco was guaranteed, the purchase procedure moved faster. Moreover, this system facilitated purchaser assessment and station management. Meanwhile, the problems of this system were analyzed and suggestions were proposed.
