Abstract: For improving the germination percentage and uniformity of seedlings, the pelleted germinating seeds of flue cured tobacco were experimented. The results showed that the germinating viability and germination percentage of pelleted germinating seeds were increased by 21.7-35.8 and 3.2-9.2 percentage points than that of normal pelleted seeds, respectively. The seedling emergence time of pelleted germinating seeds was 5-7days ahead of normal pelleted seeds in Dali tobacco growing areas, and the growth vigor and uniformity of seedlings in beds and fields were better than those of normal pelleted seeds.
