Abstract: Heavier impact would be generated when tipping paper was pressing-cut in ZJ17 cigarette making and filter assembling machine combination. By the modification of paper-cutting drum, glue-applicator, guides, and main driving gear in ZJ17 to change pressing-cutting into shearing-cutting, the impact and vibration were reduced, and the life of paper-cutting drum and knife was prolonged.
