Abstract: The technical parameters and key points in the manufacture of filter rods with 2.2Y/31000 diacetate cellulose tow in KDF2/AF2 filter rod maker were introduced.The filter rods with draw resistance from 3600Pa to 5500Pa and all physical and chemical parameters up to the new national standard were smoothly produced with the tow.The consumption of acetate tow was reduced by 10.2% using 2.2Y/3100O tow compared with using 3.0Y/35000 tow.
