Abstract: The filtration properties and application of cigarette filters, the preparation methods of filter materials and additives of multiple filters, and the interaction mechanisms between structure or surface of filter materials and target substances in tobacco smoke were summarized.Some problems and tendency of filter development were also reviewed.
