Abstract: The development of process control in domestic cigarette enterprises went through several stages in the past decade, from relay, PLC, and centralized monitoring and controlling, today's field bus control system and manage-control integrated system. The trends of automatic control technology in the cigarette enterprise will be:1) networking, intelligentizing, and digitizing; 2)real-time online quality inspection; 3)real-time data collection; 4) means and tools for designing and commissioning, 5)troubles self-diagnosing technology; and 6)automatic data management.
