Abstract: A classification system for tobacco science and technology information resources was established.Tobacco science and technology information was mainly collected from seven resources, such as journal, book, conference, and some internet sites, etc.20 databases, including "Chinese Tobacco Science and Technology Literature", "English Tobacco Science and Technology Literature", and "Tobacco Patent Literature" databases, etc., of tobacco science and technology literature were built, in which more than 100 thousand pieces of literature were contained and about 40 thousand pieces of these literature could be browsed in full text on internet.The full text searching and browsing of the literature in these databases were realized by combination of browser/server, databases and web.
