Abstract: Advances potassium nutrition of tobacco in China during recent years were reviewed in 5 aspects, such as the physiological functions of potassium, environmental factors, circulation, distribution and accumulation of potassium in tobacco plant, potassium heredity and measures for raising potassium content of tobacco leaf.Several further study schemes on potassium nutrition of tobacco were also proposed.
