Abstract: The selection and comparison of the compensation way for replacing and rebuilding tobacco machinery were analyzed through the study of wear, technical life, economic life and the method for determining optimal replacement cycle of tobacco machinery.It was suggested that the optimal replacement cycle be determined by low deteriorative numerical method, the economical feasibility for the selection of new machinery be evaluated by life cycle cost method, and the least total cost method be adopted for economical comparison and analysis.
