Abstract: In order to improve the control precision of cigarette weight, reduce the artificial variance caused by operator's self-inspection, and shift the mean value of group weight toward the target value, the experiments on the group size of per hundred pieces of cigarette in place of the former per twenty pieces were conducted.A lot of test data before and after the implementation of the new mode were collected and analyzed.The results showed that the control precision of cigarette weight could be improved, the scattering extent of group weight control be reduced, the differences of mean value of group weight among machines could be effectively decreased, the cigarette weight could be stabilized, and it is directive for further improving the control precision of cigarette weight.
