Abstract: The cigarette blending expert system which used Power Builder program language had 6 functions:standard method of tobacco systematic analysis, identification of unknown leaves, cigarette blending of daily production, cigarette blending of new developed products, management of stored leaves, etc.The physical and chemical data of 23 kinds of regularly used standard tobacco leaves were input, and the database was set up.The main functional modules and the realization of major functions were discussed in detail.
