Abstract: The principle of the operation of filter detector in GD packing machine and the shortcomings of the existing mechanical detector were analyzed.The developed electronic counter-type filter detector used 3 reflection-type photoelectric detecting probes arranged in a row for counting 3 lines of cigarettes separately;and the counting results were processed to produce a signal when filter or cigarette is missing.Meanwhile, the installation and adjustment of electronic counter-type detector were discussed also.
