Abstract:
The experiments on effects of different irrigation methods on characteristics of soil, agronomic and economic characteristics of flue-cured tobacco were conducted. The results showed that:1)drip and spray irrigation had significant effects on soil structure and growth, development, yields and quality of flue-cured tobacco, and showed significant water-saving effects;2)input-output ratios of drip, spray and furrow irrigation were 68.5, 56.6 and 8.9 respectively. Therefore, drip and spray irrigation, rather than furrow irrigation, should be used in tobacco fields.
