Abstract: A method for rapid determination of lactic acid in tobacco flavor by gas chromatography was established. The chromatographic column used was a 2m×3mm i.d.stainless steel tube packed with GDX-102 stationary phase and the detector was FID.The calibration cure was linear when the concentration of lactic acid was in range of 0.08 to 2.50 mg/mL (r=0.997 8).The average recovery of this method was about 97.44% and its CV was about 2.84%.
