Abstract:
To rationalize the technology and the design of devices for extraction and minimize the consumption of energy and water at desired extraction yield level, laboratory experiments on ratio of raw material to water, extraction temperature, extraction duration, extraction times, and dehydration were conducted. The proper conditions for single -vessel intermittent and three-stage counter-current extraction systems were proposed. The relationships between extraction yield and extraction times and centrifugal dehydration were obtained. These provide good references for determining the number and designing the internal structure of extraction vessels in commercial-scale production.
