Abstract: The paper introduced a method for residue analysis of benfuracarb and its metabolites carbofuran and 3-hydroxy-carbofuran in tobacco and soil.The dispel developments and final residue level of benfuracarb in tobacco were also reported.When benfuracarb was applied in concentration of 60 ml (effective ingredient 12g) per 667m² for one time,and sprayed 2-3 times during tobacco growing season,the final residue level of benfuracarb in dry leaves after 15 days was less than 2.4427 mg/kg.It was suggested that the safety period was 15 days after spraying the pesticide in a common level applied.
