Abstract: The advance on production technology of environmental pollution-free tobacco at home and abroad was reviewed in technical and managerial aspects. The technology and measures associated with the production of environmental pollution-free tobacco were discussed. It was suggested that three major problems would be solved emphatically in the development and management:1)the importance of the production of environmental pollution-free tobacco should be recognized, 2) there was need to develope the production technology and measures of the environmental pollution-free tobacco, and 3) there was need to work out the policies and standards associated with the production of environmental pollution-free tobacco.
