Abstract: According to physical and chemical properties of tobacco samples copied from the national standards, such as appearance, filling power, combustibility, hygroscopicity, reducing sugar, total nitrogen, nicotine, total volatile bases, petroleum ether extracts, potassium content and ash, et al., and their weighing given, the quality index of different grades of flue-cured tobacco was established.
