Abstract: Technical condition for carbon dioxide supercritical fluid extraction of tobacco was studied. The analysis results of the extraction by GC and GC MS showed that the tobacco extraction with carbon dioxide supercritical fluid was mainly non-polar and low polar compounds. The flavor components in the carbon dioxide supercritical extraction of four brands of cigarettes were analyzed quantitatively with the internal standard method. The rank of the total amounts extracted by CO₂ from 4 brands of cigarettes was as follows:Zhonghua > Shuangxi > Mudan > Qianmen.
