Abstract: Distribution, loss, epidemic factors and rules, and integrated control of tobacco vein banding disease were comprehensively reviewed, and transgenic tobacco resistant to PVY was presented as well. Finally, some problems and its solutions of the transgenic tobacco, and the new research area about the disease were discussed.
