Abstract: The volatile oil from fresh citrus medica L.leaves by simultaneous water distillation-solvent extraction method was analyzed by GC-MS and 30 components from the volatile oil were identified,which were mainly limonene,neral,geranial,citronellal etc.The application experiments in tobacco flavoring showed that the citrus medica L.volatile oil could enhance tobacco aroma and make tobacco smoke smoother and milder.
