Abstract:
The color reaction of rutin with Al(Ⅲ)was studied.A stable yellow complex was formed while rutin reacted with Al(Ⅲ)in the pH=5.6 HAc-NaAc buffer solution with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTMAB).The molar absorptivity of the complex was 4.45×10
4 L·mol
-1·cm
-1 at 430nm.The absorptivity of the complex was fitted in Beer's law in the concentration range of 0~10
μg Al(Ⅲ)/25ml.A new method for determining the content of Al in tobacco was established by testing absorptivity of the complex.The relative standard deviation and recovery of this method were about 1.8%~2.4% and 96%~102%, respectively by five replicates.
