Abstract: Analysis the reason that the tension gradient of tow ends in the same tow band were not uniform.Through the analysis of the tow overspeed rate, the extension per unit length of the ends, the mechanics relations between tow ends and Rollers D and D', between tow ends and Roller L and between tow ends and Feed Roll W, we had an appropriate statement on the tension relations betw een the tow ends at different positions and discussed to improve the tow ends tension gradient.
