Abstract:
A packed column GC method for the determination of water, methanol, ethanol ethyl acetate, butanol propylene glycol and glyccrol in some flavor products used for cigarette manufacture was described. The chromatographic conditions were as follow s:3m×3.0mm column packed with GDX-101 porous polymer, temperature programme:170℃(1min) to 250℃(10min)at 20℃/min, nitrogen was used as carrier gas with a flow rate of 60ml/min TCD was used as detector and isopropanol was I. S. All the components were bascline resolved except for water and methanol, the method is fast, simple and accurate for routine analysis.
