Selection of Transgenic Tohacco Cultivar 8611 Highly Resistant to Insects

  • 摘要: 对获得的表达江豆胰蛋白酶抑制剂的转基因8611进行了抗虫性研究,从转基因当代植株中筛选出两株高抗单株8611-6、8611-11,在用其离体叶片饲养烟方虫8天后,对烟青虫的杀死率分别达到50%和40%。在田间接种及自然(不施药)条件下,8611-6、8611-11子代植株的虫害指数分别为63.5%、69.3%(接种后15天)和37.7%、39.8%(移栽后25天),而未转基因对照植株的虫害指数分别为93.5%和57%。

     

    Abstract: The resistance to insects of the transgenic tobacco cv 8611 expressing CPTI gene was tested.In comparitson with the control,mortality of the insects feeded on transgenic plants 8611.6 and 8611-11 reached 50% and 40% respectively,and the growth the:urvived insects were remarkeably inhibited.Under field condition,the in sects-damage index of progenies of 8611-6 and 8611-11 averaged 63.5% and 69.3/15 days after inoculation,averaged 37.7% and 39.8% 25 days after transplant,while that of the non-transformed control were 93.7% and 57%。these results demonstrated that it was possible to obtain insect protection in transgenic tobacco expressing CPTI gene.
