Abstract: Various approaches to reduce CO in cigarette mainstream smoke, including physical methods and chemical methods, especially oxidation with catalyst were reviewed.It was emphasized that the development of low CO cigarette was a matter of urgency, and the future directions of CO reducing were outlined.
