Abstract: To avoid the damage of equipment caused by empty case mispositioning in strips case filling and tipping machine,the control means for empty case positioning was improved.The logic control of empty case positioning was optimized by adding diffuse photoelectric detection switches and revision of PLC program.The results of application showed that empty cases were accurately positioned with the control precision of 100%.The equipment damage decreased from 5 times per year to 0,the maintenance cost for strips case filling and tipping machine reduced by 95%,the reliability and safety of equipment running were improved.
