Abstract:
In order to store cut tobacco in cases, and avoid the shortages in manual loading of tobacco corrugated board cases, such as time and labor consuming, low precision and hard to realize batch management, a case filling plan featuring single-case and multi-station circulation was determined after analyzing related key factors, such as the characteristics of tobacco case and the means and speed of case filling. Basing on that, a dual-purpose case filling system was developed, which was suitable for both wooden case and corrugated board case. The system was simple in structure and ran smoothly. The results of application showed that: 1) it was labor saving; 2) the capability for wooden case filling satisfied the requirements of storing cut tobacco; 3) the precision of case filling raised from ±0.5 to ±0.2 kg; 4) batch-based management of case filling process was digitalized, which provided the conditions for quality tracking of CO
