Abstract:
To avoid the interference between the tobacco rod cutoff blade and ledger in a ZJ119 filter cigarette maker, where the tobacco rod cutoff mechanism is independently driven. The control system of the cutoff mechanism was optimized as follows: in the driving layer, the sampling period of the current loop was reduced from 125 μs to 31.25 μs to raise the response speed and control accuracy of the servo motor; in the control layer, the motion control algorithm was optimized by finely dividing the control area to prevent synchronization between the rotary ledger motor and the blade carrier motor in the interference zone. The said system was tested using "HEHUA" brand cigarettes at Shijiazhuang Cigarette Factory. The results showed that the control accuracy of the servo motor in the independently driven tobacco rod cutoff mechanism was improved significantly. The maximum horizontal displacements of the ledger during the start-up acceleration, constant speed running, and shutdown stages reduced from 0.120, 0.024, and 0.126 mm to 0.033, 0.009, and 0.072 mm, respectively. No interference between the cutoff blade and ledger happened during the one-month test period. This technology provides support for promoting the operational efficiency of filter cigarette makers.
