Correlation analysis and calibration of prediction results of handheld near-infrared spectrometers

  • By two handheld near-infrared spectrometers of the same model as master and slaves, 1 790 representative spectra of flue-cured tobacco leaves were collected and of 1 590 of them were used to evaluate the correlation between predicted values of master and slaves and the reference values. Based on the obtained linear correlation, the measured results of slaves were calibrated. Two hundred validation samples were used to validate the calibration results, and results of the paired t-test indicated that there was no significant difference between them.
