RT-qPCR detection and quantitative analysis of Ralstonia solanacearum in soil

Abstract
To effectively control tobacco bacterial wilt, real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) technique was developed and used to quantitatively detect Ralstonia solanacearum in soil. The results showed that the lowest concentration of Ralstonia solanacearum in soil detected by the developed system was 5×102 cfu/g. Comparing with conventional PCR detection, the sensitivity of RT-qPCR detection to Ralstonia solanacearum in soil increased by 10 times.
