Identification and tissue expression profiles of odor receptor genes in Lasioderma serricorne
-
Abstract
In order to understand the olfactory sensory system of tobacco beetle and to promote the development of its behavioral regulators, the odor receptor genes (ORs) in Lasioderma serricorne were identified with bioinformatics methods, including BLASTX online tool and phylogenetic analysis, on the basis of the antennal transcriptome data of L. serricorne. The results showed that: 1) A total of nine OR genes (LerOR1- LerOR8, LserOrco) were identified from the antennal transcriptome of L. serricorne. 2) In the phylogenetic tree, LserOR6 of L. serricorne and AglaOR22 of Anoplophora glabripennis clustered in the same branch, indicating that their evolutionary relationship was closer. 3) Two LserORs genes (LserOR5 and LserOrco) of L. serricorne were relatively highly expressed in antennae.
