The AHP-CRITIC combination weighting+TOPSIS method was developed to investigate the effects of technical parameters on the quality of tobacco redried by a current apron conveyor redrying method. The technical parameters for redrying flue-cured tobacco variety K326 were comprehensively evaluated by the developed method. The results showed that: 1) The weights of three first-level indexes, namely technical parameters in the drying section, tobacco characteristic parameters and workshop environment parameters, and those of ten second-level indexes, including workshop humidity and hot air temperature in the first drying section, etc., accounted for a relatively large proportion influencing the redrying quality of tobacco. 2) Compared with the single weighing method, both the average relative error and the total Euclidean distance value of the AHP-CRITIC combination weighting+TOPSIS method were the smallest, indicating that the results obtained by this model could truthfully evaluate the technical parameters of tobacco redrying. 3) There were deficiencies in the evaluated objects with an overall score below 80. By calculating the detailed scores of the technical parameters, it was possible to identify the specific indexes responsible for the quality fluctuations in the redried tobacco.
