HPLC Fingerprint Analysis of Tobacco Flavors
-
Abstract
In order to monitor the quality of tobacco flavor, the samples of 10 batches of flavor XJ were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and the fingerprint spectrum of the XJ was established by the relative retention values and relative areas of characteristic peaks. The samples were analyzed with a RP-C18 column, a mobile phase of CH3CN:1.0%(v/v) CH3COOH at the flow rate of 1.0mL/min, and detection wavelength of 320 nm. The quality stability of the XJ was investigated by calculating the similarity between HPLC fingerprint spectrum.
