Equilibrium Relationship between Tobacco Cytoplasmic Male Sterility and Bud Endogenous Hormone

    Abstract
  • The ratios of endogenous hormone contents in tobacco cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS)and relevant maintenance line buds were compared.The results showed that from small, middle to big buds, the ratios of IAA/ABA, GA3/ABA and ZT/ABA in CMS buds' were higher than that in maintenance line buds, and the ranges of these ratios were great in CMS buds narrow in maintenance line buds at various bud developing stages.It indicated that the equilibrium relationship of several endogenous hormones in CMS buds was deviated from normal, it might relate with male sterility.
