Dry Matter Accumulation and Nutrient Absorption in Yellow Sun-cured Tobacco

  • The rule of dry matter accumulation and nutrient absorption and distribution were studied during the growth of yellow sun-cured tobacco in field. The results indicated that the profile of dry matter accumulation and nutrient absorption in yellow sun-cured tobacco was "slow-fast-slow" all way through its growth period. The peak period of dry matter accumulation was mainly in 30-75d after transplanting, and the peak periods of macroelement and microelement absorption were in 30-60d and 45-75d after transplanting, respectively. The order of macroelement absorption was N > K > Ca > P > Mg, and that of microelement absorption wasMn > Fe > Cu > Zn > B > Mo.The organs in order of distribution ratio of dry matter and nutrients were leaf > stem > root.
