Testing Result Comparison of DD60A Densimeter with D51

    Abstract
  • The samples of cut tobacco after cooling and storing were tested with DD60A and D51, the results were analyzed and the performances of these two densimeters were compared and evaluated.The results showed that the detection precision of D51 was higher than that of DD60A;the measurements of D51 and DD60A were significantly correlated (P < 0.05), especially for the cut tobacco of class A with correlation coefficient 0.9552 (P < 0.001);DD60A was more sensitive to the changes of moisture content of cut tobacco and the temperature and humidity of ambient air.
