Synthesis of Fructosamine and its Application in Cigarette
The fructosamine was synthesized with Maillard reaction of fructose and NH3·H2O in methanol solution at 5-15℃ using NaOH as a catalyst, and the yield was up to 87%.The synthetical fructosamine was applied in cigarette and reconstituted tobacco, and the results showed that the flavor notes of blended-type cigarettes could be enhanced by fructosamine.
