Heat Transfer Analysis of Process Gas in HXD

  • In order to study the pneumatic drying process in RCC-HXD, experiments were planned based on the principles of heat engineering, the experimental data were collected with an on-line data collecting system, RSSQL; and the experimental results were deducted theoretically and analyzed statistically. The results showed that: 1) during drying, the heat transferred between process gas and cut tobacco before feeding point in HXD could be scaled by Ø, which is the reciprocal of temperature difference of process gas before and after drying; 2) keeping the other control parameters constant and changing the mode of waste gas exhaust from automatic into manual, the heat transferred during drying was always lower; 3) in mode of automatic waste gas exhaust, the drying ability of process gas decreased with the increase of steam injection when steam injection was over 1800kg/h.
