Improvement of Garniture Cooling System in ZL22 Filter Rod Making Machine

Because of the friction between tape and garniture in ZL22 filter rod making machine, the temperature of tape drum assembly was high, which resulted in shorter working life of its parts and the circumference and length of filter rod fluctuation. A cooling system was added to circulate cold water through a chamber formed inside the bottom of garniture to take away the heat and bring the garniture temperature down. After improving, the surface temperature of tape drum dropped, the machine efficiency, the quality of filter rod and working life of the parts were increased.
