Improvement of Pneumatic Cut Tobacco Feeding System

  • The make-up and working principle of pneumatic cut tobacco feeding system were introduced, higher breakage rate and particle segregation of cut tobacco during conveying in the system reduced the filling power of cut tobacco. The system was improved: setting air velocity properly; stabilizing air velocity by using frequency conversion speed regulator and adding instantaneous air compensation devices to reduce the peak value of air velocity; adjusting the air velocity in suction pipe independently; altering the material for suction pipe; using vibration-free turret type feeder to prevent the cut tobacco from segregation; upgrading the electrical control system. After improving, the breakage rate of cut tobacco during pneumatic feeding decreased by 0.94%, and 5 million RMB yuan could be saved in each year.
