Estimation of Process Capability in Tobacco Primary Processing Based on MES

In order to find a method for estimating the technical level of tobacco primary processing automatically, the process capability of each technical parameter(C_p,ki) was calculated by taking the automatic data collection function of MES as a platform, the general process capability of each processing section(C_p,k) was counted with the weighted average of each technical parameter.The capability of technical level of each processing section was graded based on its C_p,k.The results showed that the practical level of primary processing technology could be reflected objectively with this estimation method while the process was under control, and it offered a basis for estimating the improvement of primary processing technology.
