Improvement of Carton Glue Applicator in GDX1 Packing Machine

The original design of glue applicator in GDX1 packing machine failed to effectively control the amount of glue applied on the carton, which resulted in uneven glue distribution among the 7 gluing points and the parts of glue applicator needed to be cleaned and changed frequently because of the contamination and corrosion caused by emulsion.Therefore, a sealed applicator was designed, the former gluer was replaced by a gluing nozzle, and the gluing process was PLC controlled to ensure steady and even gluing at the 7 gluing points.The glue was in a sealed state, no other parts contacted with glue, except for gluing nozzle, whereby the consumption of glue and spare part, the labor intensity of operators and failures of equipment reduced accordingly.
