Saponification Experiments for Solanesol Extraction from Waste and Inferior Tobacco Concrete

  • In order to increase the yield of solanesol, the saponification experiments of waste and inferior tobacco concrete was studied.It was indicated that the major factor influencing the saponification rate was the thinner and the concentration of saponifical alkali and saponifical temperature were the next factors.The preferable treatment condition was dipping the concrete into 0.3mol/L NaOH-EtOH solution for 2 hours at 70℃, and the saponification rate could reach 97.4% and higher.
