Application of Head Space-Liquid Phase Microextraction in Analysis of Tobacco Flavor

  • The effects of extraction solvent, solvent volume, sample balancing time, extraction duration and temperature on head space-liquid phase microextraction (HS-LPME) were investigated, a preparatory treatment method for tobacco flavor XJ1 was established, namely, XJ1 was balanced at 20℃ for 20 minutes, then its head space volatile components were extracted with 2μL 1-propanol for 20 minutes and determined by GC. The results indicated that the recoveries of 6 volatile components, including limonene, 6-methyl-5-heptene-2-one, benzaldehyde, linalool, benzyl alcohol and 2-acetylpyrrole were from 86.3% to 107.7% with relative standard deviations of less than 4.32% (n=5), and the limit of detection was 0.16 to 3.02μg/mL. The HS-LPME is suitable for rapid determination of the volatile components in XJ1.
